Mission and Purpose
Assisted Living Project Apparel (ALPA) exists for one reason only: to help provide safe, stable homes for vulnerable people and those living with enduring illness across the UK.
Every item we sell is created with a single purpose in mind. 100% of the profits from ALPA are used to help provide housing for people who need it most.
We work through the Assisted Living Project, which provides specialist properties in locations where there is urgent need for supported accommodation.
These homes are used by care providers such as the YMCA and other specialist organisations, who receive referrals directly from local councils, the NHS and frontline services, often for people in acute difficulty, crisis, or with complex physical and mental health needs.
Many of the people supported through this system are not simply waiting for a home. They are people whose lives have been disrupted by illness, disability, trauma or circumstance, who need the stability of a suitable home before they can begin to rebuild their lives.
For people who require adapted or specialist accommodation, waits for a suitable home can stretch into years. These properties are rarely built by mainstream developers, and without the right home, care and recovery become almost impossible.
Through this model, the sale of everyday clothing is turned into something far more meaningful.
Every hoodie, T-shirt and item of gym wear sold by ALPA helps create real homes for real people, providing the foundation for safety, dignity, independence and the chance to live a better life.
