Best Pitch at the Litestream Ventures summit in Davos
Thomas Williams took Best Pitch at Litestream Ventures' Annual Impact Investment Summit, a private investor event held in Davos during World Economic Forum week.

On 17 January 2024 our founder, Thomas Williams, presented the Assisted Living Project at Litestream Ventures' Annual Impact Investment Summit in Davos, and was named Best Pitch.
It is worth being exact about what that is. The summit is Litestream Ventures' own private event, held for an invited audience that Litestream put at between 70 and 100 investors, and timed for the January week when the World Economic Forum holds its annual meeting in the same town. It is not a World Economic Forum event, it carries no World Economic Forum endorsement, and Best Pitch is not a World Economic Forum award. It is the verdict of the room Litestream assembled.
Litestream selects and judges against the seventeen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and the summit doubled as a casting session for an impact-investment television series the firm was then developing. What we took into that room was the model as it stands: apartment buildings acquired, refurbished and leased on long terms to regulated providers, so that people living with enduring illness and disability have somewhere settled to live.
Making that case to a room of impact investors, and having it judged the best pitch of the day, is worth recording. It is a judgement on how clearly the case was put, not an assessment of the business, and not a rating of any investment in it.
